Sister Maia provides professional content writing, product description styling, and creative concept development for independent brands. Each project scope, deliverables, and timeline are defined in a written agreement or proposal before work begins. We do not guarantee specific sales increases, search engine rankings, or viral outcomes from the copy we produce.

You agree to provide accurate, timely information about your brand, products, and audience. Delays in feedback or missing reference materials may extend the project timeline. You retain ownership of your brand assets; Sister Maia retains ownership of the copywriting methodology and any unpublished drafts until final payment is received.

Fees are quoted per project or per word, as stated in your proposal. Invoices are due within 14 days of receipt. If you cancel a project after work has begun, you are responsible for payment on completed deliverables. No refunds are issued for partial work already delivered. All prices are in euros and exclude applicable taxes.

Upon full payment, you receive a non-exclusive, perpetual license to use the final copy for your business. Sister Maia reserves the right to display completed work in our portfolio unless a non-disclosure agreement is signed. You may not resell or redistribute the copy as a standalone product.

Sister Maia is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our copy, including but not limited to lost revenue, data loss, or reputational harm. Our total liability for any claim is capped at the total amount paid for the specific project giving rise to the claim.

Each project includes up to two rounds of revisions. Additional revisions are billed at our standard hourly rate. Edits requested more than 30 days after final delivery are treated as a new project. We do not guarantee that third-party platforms (e.g., Shopify, WordPress) will display the copy exactly as formatted in our delivery files.

Either party may terminate a project with written notice if the other party breaches a material term and fails to remedy it within 10 business days. Upon termination, you pay for all work completed up to that point. Sister Maia may terminate immediately if you use our copy in a way that violates applicable law or our ethical guidelines.
